Are you a hands-on engineering expert with real-world experience in Process Design and Layout gained within an Automotive manufacturing environment?
We’re looking for a specialist who will be responsible for the creation and development of PFMEA plans, supporting Trim and Final Assembly for a major UK-based OEM.
Responsibilities
- To help identify Risk Discovery/Preliminary Risk Assessment
- Create and/or update the Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
- Create and/or update the Parameter Diagram (P-Diagram)
- Create and/or update the Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) – ideally with working knowledge of 2016 Standard.
- Create and/or update the Design Review Board or Failure Mode (DRBFM) where changes exist.
- Create and/or update the Action & Risk Reduction Plan
- Create and/or update the Special Characteristics Register
- Create and/or update the Prototype / Pre-Launch / Production Control Plan

- Time served engineer educated to degree level or equivalent
Essential Skills
- Must have worked within an Automotive environment (ideally Trim & Final Assembly) for a major OEM.
