The Role

We need a motivated, detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Process Technician (fixed term, end-year, open to extension) to join our hybrid Wrexham team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting DS Drug Substance fabrication, covering media and buffer preparation, upstream/downstream processing, and critical cleaning.
  • Assuring compliance with cGMP, regulatory, and HSE standards—documenting every stage meticulously.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and operating equipment during validation/qualification activities.
  • Monitoring environmental compliance, utilities, and alarms to maintain safety and efficiency.
  • Contributing to CAPAs, OOS, complaints assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift pattern: Mon–Fri with occasional weekend work under an annualised hours contract.


Requirements

  • Qualifications/Experience:
    • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences) or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Soft Skills/Attitude:
    • Attentive to detail, a methodical worker with high accountability.
    • Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule (covering 6am–10pm shifts).
    • Open to a temporary role with opportunities for longer-term engagement.
    • Prepared to thrive in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment that demands precision.
