Pharmaceutical Production Chemist
Production Operator – Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing
Are you looking for a varied role in Pharmaceutical Production? Do you have experience of working to GMP or ISO standards?
A manufacturer of specialist radiopharmaceuticals is currently seeking a Production Operator to join their team at their site near Preston. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with prior experience in a highly regulated environment seeking a challenging and rewarding role.
Role Overview
- Position: Permanent, Full-Time
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Working Pattern: 11 days worked over a period of 28 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesis of radiopharmaceutical products (including cyclotron operation)
- Dispensing radiopharmaceutical products into vials
- Involvement in packaging and distribution of products to patients

Requirements

Education & Experience:
- Degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline OR equivalent prior experience
- Crucial prior experience working in a highly regulated environment (to cGMP and/or ISO standards)

Availability & Resilience:
- Able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Prior experience working nights or unsociable shifts is a strong advantage
