Territory

The following territories are available:

  • Leicestershire, Coventry and Warwickshire
  • North East and North Cumbria, plus parts of North Yorkshire
  • Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, plus Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire

The Client is a pharmaceutical company engaged in the development of highly effective and innovative prescription medicines aimed at the prevention and treatment of Asthma, COPD and HRT. In this role you will ensure the delivery of territory sales targets for the product portfolio through development and implementation of a territory business plan, in line with the regional and national strategy. This will involve the promotion of products to target customers in priority accounts through effective utilisation and management of promotional resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully accountable for the delivery of territory sales targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver effective, compelling customer calls and presentations to drive growth of the brand portfolio.
  • Compile, monitor and review the territory business plan, proactively making adjustments in line with insights taken from data analysis to ensure that business goals are achieved.
  • Develop long term business relationships through regular contact with relevant customers to maximise business opportunities in both the primary and secondary care sectors.

The Person/Experience

  • Proven track record of sales experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales
  • Recent experience in COPD/Asthma and or HRT
  • High level & proven selling & influencing skills
  • Experience in managing a promotional budget
  • Sound understanding of business planning and account management skills
  • Demonstrated history of effective interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience in presenting and influencing groups
  • Strong collaboration skills and proven team player
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, data analysis and IT skills, including mobile devices
  • Sound understanding of UK pharmaceutical industry and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of NHS policies, structures, funding streams, disease management/patient pathways and processes relevant to promoted products
  • Demonstrates well developed business and commercial acumen
  • Proactive and accountable with a clear drive for completion and delivery
  • Degree in scientific or business related subject or equivalent qualification
  • ABPI qualified with a valid UK driving licence
