Pharmacist Role
What You’ll Be Doing
Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we serve, delivering trusted care, advice, and services that prioritise patient needs. In this role, you’ll apply your clinical expertise daily while collaborating with a supportive team and using advanced tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using both in-store and digital tools
- Leading professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance
- Monitoring, evaluating, and continuously improving standards of care and safety
- Partnering with the Store Manager to develop the capabilities of the wider healthcare team
- Fostering talent reflective of the communities we serve, including coaching, mentoring, and supporting colleagues
- Representing Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals
Must-Have Requirements
- Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
- Prior experience leading patient and customer care in a pharmacy environment
- A passion for providing essential, advanced, and private pharmaceutical services
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and coaching others
