Pharmacist

What You’ll Be Doing

Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we look after, delivering trusted care, advice, and services that put patients first. In this role, you’ll use your clinical expertise every day, surrounded by a brilliant team and advanced tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using both in-store and digital tools
  • Leading professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and continually improving standards of care and safety
  • Collaborating with the Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team
  • Growing talent that reflects the communities we serve, including:
    • Coaching
    • Mentoring
    • Supporting colleagues at every step
  • Representing Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals

What You’ll Need To Have (Must-Haves)

  • Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, or PSI)
  • Strong communication, relationship-building skills
  • Experience leading patient care and customer service within a pharmacy setting
  • Passion for delivering essential, advanced, and private services
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset and a desire to coach and guide others
