Pharmacist
Pharmacist Role – Community Care at Boots
About the Role
Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we serve, delivering trusted care, advice, and services that put patients first. In this role, you’ll apply your clinical expertise daily within a supportive team, utilising essential tools and exceptional resources.
Responsibilities
- Deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private pharmacy services through in-store and digital platforms
- Uphold professional and legal standards, ensuring patient safety and pharmacy compliance
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and enhance care standards
- Partner with Store Managers to develop the broader healthcare team’s capabilities
- Grow talent within our communities by coaching, mentoring, and supporting colleagues
- Represent Boots in local community engagements and professional healthcare networks
Requirements
Must-haves
- Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven experience in patient/customer-led care within a pharmacy setting
- Commitment to excel in essential, advanced, and private healthcare services
- A collaborative, team-focused mindset and willingness to mentor others
