Senior Pharmacist
What You’ll Be Doing
Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we serve, providing trusted patient care, advice, and services with a patient-first approach. This role lets you utilise your clinical expertise daily, supported by an exceptional team and advanced tools.
About the Role
- Building trusted relationships to deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private pharmacy services both in-store and digitally
- Leading and upholding professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance
- Continuously monitoring and improving standards of care
- Collaborating with the Store Manager to develop the healthcare team’s capabilities
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues to reflect local community values and grow talent
- Representing Boots within local communities and healthcare networks
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive services across public health (NHS), private, and commissioned care
- Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and compliance requirements
- Develop safety and care standards through data review and process checks
- Foster team growth through clinical oversight, mentoring, and guidance
- Act as a booster representative for Boots in external community and professional settings
Must-Have Requirements
✅ Registry Registration: - UK: Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) - Northern Ireland: Validated by the Pharmacy Services Northern Ireland (PSNI) - Republic of Ireland: Registered with the Pharmacists Registration Board (PSI)
