Pharmacy Assistant - Ebrington Pharmacy Join the Day Lewis Plymouth Team
Hours: 42 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Day Lewis is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant – Dispenser in their Ebrington Pharmacy. This full-time role offers a pathway to develop a career in Medicine and Clinical Care and will equip successful candidates with the skills, training, and support needed to progress.

Training & Progression
- Initial Training: Complete the internal Day Lewis Induction Training to settle into the team.
- Further Qualification: Depending on prior pharmacy experience, you may need to complete additional training or qualifications—which typically takes between 3-6 months. For those interested in progression, Day Lewis provides:
- Support for training
- Course reimbursement
- Focus on progression to Pharmacy Technician level (currently in alignment with: The National Pharmaceutical Association’s BTEC Level 3 Diploma – Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Technicians).

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your work will be crucial to the team’s operational success. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advanced dispensary service and optimising dispensing workflows to maintain the highest customer service standards.
- Delivering on weekly operations by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Assisting on the patient-facing counter, offering warm, efficient customer service and fostering strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
- Active participation as part of a collaborative, small yet hard-working team focused on service excellence.
- Continual development of clinical, administrative, and commercial pharmacy skills.
