Pharmacy Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. This role is critical in supporting pharmacy operations and delivering outstanding customer service.


YOUR MISSION AS A PHARMACY ASSISTANT

As a vital part of our team, you will:

  • Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring meticulous accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all patients feel heard, supported, and valued.
  • Contribute to a smooth and efficient pharmacy workflow.
  • Manage inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
  • Utilise computer systems for:
    • Processing prescriptions
    • Managing stock levels
    • Handling customer queries
  • Maintain a spotless and orderly pharmacy environment.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an:
    • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
    • Or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including:
    • Warmth, empathy, and patience.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Computer literacy—familiarity or comfort with pharmacy software systems.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to:
    • Problem-solve, demonstrate initiative, and adapt quickly in a busy environment.
