Salary: £27,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
The Park Hospital in Nottingham is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team of staff in the Pharmacy department.
This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include
Assist in the preparation and labelling of medicines for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge prescriptions under appropriate supervision. Support the safe supply of medicines, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution to wards and departments. Monitor stock levels and expiry dates, helping maintain accurate inventory across the pharmacy and clinical areas. Receive and check deliveries, ensuring correct storage of medications in line with temperature and security guidelines. Assist with the completion of relevant records, prescription tracking, and data entry on pharmacy systems. Maintain accurate filing and organisation of documentation related to medicine supply and patient care.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
Good general education including literacy and numeracy skills. Experience in a customer service, healthcare, or stock-handling role. Good communication and organisational skills. Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under supervision.
