Pharmacy Business Development Manager – Transformation & Dispensing Solutions
£50,000 + Bonus + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits Location: South East England | Role Type: Field-Based
About the Role
Are you a commercially driven sales professional with experience in the pharmacy sector?
We are partnering with an innovative healthcare business, helping independent pharmacies improve efficiency, reduce operational pressures, and focus on delivering higher-value clinical services.
As part of an exciting growth phase, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business across the South East of England.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, this highly autonomous, field-based role involves managing the full sales cycle—prospecting, relationship building, conversion, and onboarding. Success is achieved through consultative selling, understanding customer challenges, and delivering solution-led sales in a relationship-driven market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across the South East region
- Build relationships with pharmacy owners and key decision-makers
- Manage the full sales cycle (prospecting to close)
- Conduct consultative sales meetings and presentations
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and self-generate opportunities
- Maintain an active pipeline through CRM management
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities
- Provide market and competitor insights to support commercial growth
About You
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in Business Development, Field Sales, or Account Management
- Experience within community pharmacy, digital pharmacy, pharmacy technology, PMR systems, or pharmaceutical wholesale (or related healthcare sector)
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Track record of achieving commercial targets
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
- Resilient, proactive, and self-motivated
- Passionate about healthcare innovation and service improvement
- Full UK driving licence
