Pharmacy Colleague – Lower Earley (Full Time, Permanent)

About the Role

Our 24/7 stores offer flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle—ideal if you’re looking for adaptable working patterns. While we tailor shifts to your needs, weekend work is essential, and flexibility may be required at times.
As part of our store’s Pharmacy team, you’ll deliver outstanding customer service with the same warmth and professionalism provided in every other department. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers confidently with health-related queries and navigating products or services.
- Quickly resolving customer concerns and directing them to the right solutions.
- Ensuring accurate assembly and processing of prescriptions.
- Promoting additional pharmacy services, such as:
- Prescription Collection Service
- Medicines Use Reviews
- Patient-related services (e.g., blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes).
- Supporting the Pharmacist in managing services, maintaining records, and delivering effective healthcare interventions.
- Collecting prescriptions on behalf of customers from their GP surgeries and bringing them into the store for pickup.

Career Progression: We’ll help you become a standout Pharmacy Colleague by:
- Completing an accredited Medicine Counter Assistant training course within 6 months.
- Progressing to Dispensing Assistant training to complete your pharmacy skill set. Each milestone brings new opportunities to enhance patient care while advancing your career.
