About the Role

Our stores operate 24/7, offering flexible working opportunities. Weekend shifts are mandatory, and shift flexibility may be required.
The Pharmacy Colleague role is highly valued, offering direct interaction with customers to deliver excellent healthcare services. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting with warmth, professionalism, and confidence when discussing personal health matters.
- Resolving customer queries efficiently and directing them to appropriate products.
- Accurately assembling, processing, and distributing prescriptions.
- Promoting additional pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
- Supporting the Pharmacist with patient services (e.g., blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes).
- Following strict Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collecting prescriptions on behalf of customers from their doctor’s surgery for in-store pickup.

Training & Development
- Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months.
- Progress to a Dispensing Assistant qualification thereafter, facilitating career growth.
