Pharmacy Dispenser
Pharmacy Dispenser (GLP-1 & Weight Management Service)
Location: Euston, London (nearby partner clinic) Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break) Start Date: ASAP (contracts up to 6 months) Salary: £27,040 per annum Reports to: Operations Team

- GP consultations (online, at home, or in-clinic)
- Specialist care (mental health, physiotherapy, audiology)
- Wellbeing (blood tests, vaccinations, health checks)
All consultations are provided by GPDQ-vetted, GMC-registered professionals working in compliance with NHS standards.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our managed weight loss & GLP-1 service—a distance-selling pharmacy model operating at a partner clinic in Euston’s vicinity.
In this role, you’ll ensure ** precision and safety** while fulfilling prescriptions—including recently approved injectable GLP-1 medicines. Your work will support patient experience and supply chain efficiency under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist (RP).

Key Responsibilities
✅ Prescription Processing
- Assemble and dispense prescriptions under Responsible Pharmacist supervision
- Pick, label, pack medicines (including injectable GLP-1 formulations)
✅ Supply Chain & Compliance
- Perform batch, expiry, and FEFO stock checks
- Manage cold-chain storage for temperature-sensitive medicines
- Maintain audit-ready dispensary compliance (GPhC standards, SOPs)
- Monitor fridge temperatures and restock control
✅ Patient Support
- Address routine queries; escalate any clinical concerns to the RP as needed
- Ensure adherence to data protection and GDPR regulations
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser with NVQ Level 2/3 (Pharmacy Services) or equivalent recognition
- Experience in a:
- Community pharmacy
- Online dispensing entity
- Centralised dispensary (preferably high-volume)
- Attention to detail with strong regulatory awareness
- Confident using pharmacy systems (EPS, dispensing software)
- Reliability and adaptability for fast-paced operations

Desirables (Would Be Exceptionally Useful)
- Experience in distance-selling pharmacy or e-pharmacies
- Exposure to GLP-1 therapies or weight management services
- Refrigerated medicine handling (e.g., cold-chain protocols)
