About the Role

Pay: Starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours may also be available.
Availability Window
- Monday: 10:00 – 18:30
- Tuesday: 12:30 – 21:00
- Wednesday: 13:00 – 21:00
- Thursday: 09:00 – 18:00
- Friday: 13:30 – 21:00
Shift times will be scheduled within these windows, with at least 3 weeks’ notice given. Even if your availability is close to what we’re seeking, applying is still encouraged.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
- Accurately dispensing prescription medicines while maintaining high standards of attention to detail and customer care.
- Providing friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and pharmacy services.
- Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products responsibly.
- Handling competence-based customer queries and escalating when required.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhering to accurate prescription administration requirements on time.
- Supporting promotional activities and company initiatives.

Requirements
- Experience or qualifications from working in a pharmacy environment.
- A desire to train and develop in the pharmacy field.
- A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with enthusiasm, and serving them with pride.
- The ability to build rapport quickly, ensuring customers leave confident, supported, and reassured.
- Strong initiative to make the right decisions for customers—whether assisting with over-the-counter guidance, managing prescription queries, or referring to the pharmacist for expert advice.
- A positive, team-focused approach, including communication, collaboration with colleagues, and celebrating successes together.
