Working as a Pharmacy dispenser supporting the supply of CMBP in a specialist Private pharmacy.
This is a niche role in a growing area. The successful candidate will be working alongside specialist Clinical Pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible for all patients.
What will you be doing?
- Receiving and validating prescriptions ready for a clinical check.
- Processing patient information appropriately.
- Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist & Technicians in the daily operations of the Pharmacist.
- Being the first point of contact for any queries to the Pharmacy.
- Maintaining relevant records for the supply of CMBP.
- Maintaining stock and security of any CMBP on site.
- Maintaining communication of prescription to the Department of Health to meet Regulatory Requirements.
- Supporting governance in the Pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is operating as safely as possible.

What do you need?
- A UK qualified Pharmacy dispenser
- Ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme. Through this will be provided for the successful candidate
- Self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easily
- Experience in working in the pharmacy dispensary either primary and/or secondary environment
- Has attention to detail, patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations
- Excellence in communication skills with staff, patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Professional, ethical and committed to providing excellent customer care
- Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
