Working alongside a wide range of pharmaceutical manufacturers, we provide storage and distribution services to wholesalers, pharmacies, GP surgeries, and hospitals nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant's to join our thriving private online pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, helping to deliver safe, efficient, and discreet healthcare services to patients across the UK.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the dispensing process and ensuring patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with SOPs, GPhC standards, and legal requirements.
  • Label, assemble, and prepare medicines for final accuracy checks by the pharmacist.
  • Maintain accurate prescription records, patient information, and dispensing data.
  • Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and support effective stock control procedures.
  • Respond to patient enquiries via telephone, email, and online messaging in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Assist with prescription processing, order tracking, and dispatch coordination within an online pharmacy setting.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists and colleagues to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualification.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within a pharmacy, dispensary, or healthcare environment.
  • Experience working within an online or mail-order pharmacy.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing and prescription management systems.
  • Knowledge of stock control procedures and controlled drugs management.
  • Previous customer service or patient-facing experience.
