About Us
We are a fast-growing, multi-branch community pharmacy group delivering high-quality NHS and private services across our network, currently located across Birmingham, Gloucester, Telford, and Merseyside.
Our focus is simple:

With continued expansion, we are looking for a highly driven Operational Manager to work directly with the Directors and Area Manager to elevate performance across the estate.
The Role
This is a field-based leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across multiple pharmacy branches.
You will:
- Ensure branches meet and exceed operational, compliance, and performance targets
- Support teams to deliver high-quality NHS and private services
- Identify performance gaps and implement clear, structured improvements
- Conduct audits and follow-ups to maintain consistently high standards
- Work closely with branch teams to improve workflow, accountability, and execution
- Regular travel between branches is required.

Operational Performance
- Drive key KPIs including prescription growth and overall branch performance
- Ensure teams are hitting daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Monitor performance data and take action where required
Standards & Compliance
- Conduct structured operational audits
- Ensure branches maintain:
- Clean, organized, patient-ready environments
- Accurate dispensing and stock control
- Full compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
Service Growth
- Support branches to maximize delivery of NHS and private services
- Identify opportunities to improve patient engagement and uptake
- Drive consistency across all locations.
Team Development
- Train and develop branch teams to improve performance and confidence
- Ensure teams understand expectations and are held accountable
- Support managers in building strong, capable teams
Systems & Processes
- Ensure effective use of systems and internal processes
- Standardize ways of working across all branches
- Implement improvements to drive efficiency and consistency
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Community pharmacy experience (essential)
- Experience in multi-site or multi-team operations
- Strong understanding of performance management and KPIs
- Proven ability to drive results and improve underperforming areas
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead and challenge teams
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
