We have an exciting opportunity for GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our Education and Training team at Frimley Health.

This is a Band 5 post, designed for pharmacy technicians with hospital experience who have a passion for education and training, and who are motivated to train, mentor, coach, and support pharmacy staff and learners throughout their professional development journey.

You will be supported through a comprehensive in-house training programme, including practice supervision training, supervisory and leadership training, and medicines management competencies, to equip you with the skills needed to provide hands-on training and line management.

If you thrive in a busy, patient-focused environment, enjoy learning new skills, and want to directly improve patient care through training registered and trainee staff, we would be delighted to receive your application.

  • Provide excellent patient care for inpatients, outpatients, and external units.
  • Work with the EPIC electronic prescribing system and Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets to deliver an accurate, timely, and cost-effective pharmacy service.
  • Duties include accurate labelling, dispensing, and checking of a wide range of prescriptions, including controlled drugs, clinical trials, TPN, chemotherapy, home IV therapies, and palliative care medicines.
  • Medicines management rotations will offer direct patient contact, including taking medication histories, medicines reconciliation, supporting safe and correct use of prescribed medicines, and counselling patients on new treatments.
  • A competency unit will be provided for each area to ensure full training is completed and competence is demonstrated before independent working is expected.
  • Provide the education and training of all the above dispensary duties for our registered pharmacy staff and trainees.
  • Be a Practice Supervisor and Educational Supervisor for level 2 and 3 pharmacy apprentices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
