Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technician | Farnham | Private Hospital | Full-Time (37.5 hrs) | Permanent | NHS Band 5/6
Spire Clare Park Hospital are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
As a key member of the team, you will support the department in the provision of pharmacy services, including:
- Ordering
- Stock control
- Preparation of drugs and medicines
Spire Clare Park Hospital is a modern, elective hospital based in Farnham, rated "Good" by the CQC. We deliver a broad range of surgical and diagnostic services, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology, and ENT, alongside excellent imaging facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide an exemplary specialist technical service to support the pharmacy department and other hospital departments handling medicines, adhering to:
- Current legislation
- Professional and ethical standards
- Spire Healthcare policies and procedures
- Monitor stock levels to maintain optimal inventory management
- Assist with procurement of pharmaceuticals via electronic systems
- Participate in pharmacy stock-takes
- Offer general administrative support to the department
- Contribute to the safe and cost-effective use of medicines

Who We’re Looking For
- Qualification required: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Hospital experience is desirable, though community pharmacy experience will also be considered

Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
