PHD Peer Review – Biochemical Research Methods
Part-Time, Long-Term Remote Peer Reviewer Required
Note: This is a long-term, stable part-time position that supports remote work. Please read the recruitment requirements carefully and submit a precise application.
**What You Need

Qualification:
- Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area

Publication Requirement:
- A minimum of 5 published papers in SCI / SSCI-indexed journals within the past three years

Key Competencies:
- Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles in the discipline
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong written communication abilities, with the capacity to deliver clear, concise, and constructive feedback
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively
- Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity

- Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems
**What You Will Do

Assess Novelty: Evaluate whether the manuscript is original, adding new knowledge or insights to the field.

Evaluate Study Design & Methodology: Verify if the study design and methods are:
- Appropriate
- Comprehensive
- Properly described for reproducibility

Literature Review: Ensure the manuscript:
- Thoroughly incorporates relevant, up-to-date research
- Correctly cites prior work

Analyse Results & Conclusions: Assess:
- Clarity and appropriateness of results presentation
- Whether conclusions are supported by data and significant to the field

Provide Constructive Feedback: Offer suggestions for improvement and highlight:
- Flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns

Recommend Publication: Based on your evaluation, the journal editor will decide whether the manuscript is:
- Accepted
- Requires revision
- Rejected
