Role Overview

We are seeking seasoned professionals to join as Philanthropic Mentor cum Advisors, offering expertise in cultivating donor relationships, shaping philanthropic strategies, and aligning funding with social impact goals. Advisors will play a pivotal role in strengthening credibility, supporting leadership, and ensuring long-term sustainability. This is an honorary role designed for individuals who want to contribute their expertise while building legacy-driven ventures.

Key Responsibilities

Donor Engagement

  • Advise on strategies to identify, approach, and cultivate philanthropic donors.
  • Support leadership in building trust and transparency with donor communities.

Philanthropic Strategy

  • Provide insights into structuring philanthropic partnerships aligned with organizational goals.
  • Guide leadership on balancing donor expectations with mission-driven priorities.

Funding & Sustainability

  • Offer input on fundraising campaigns and philanthropic grant opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with donor reporting and accountability standards.

Networking & Representation

  • Connect the organization with philanthropic networks, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Represent the nonprofit in external discussions when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience as director and philanthropy, donor relations, or fundraising.
  • Proven track record in cultivating and managing donor partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, reporting, and philanthropic governance.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to fairness, transparency, and advancing social causes.
