Philanthropy and Partnerships Officer
Fundraiser Opportunity Salary: £29,012–£34,764 (Band B, dependent on experience) Home based (occasional London/national travel), Permanent 35 hrs/week or flexible 9-day fortnight
About Breast Cancer UK We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive fundraiser to join our Philanthropy and Partnerships team. This role will help Breast Cancer UK build sustainable income streams—spearheading corporate partnerships, trusts/foundations fundraising, and major donor cultivation—while scaling our ambitious impact: reducing breast cancer cases.
Reports to: Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships
About the Role
You’ll:
- Manage high-value fundraising streams across corporate partnerships, trusts/foundations, and major donors.
- Provide tailored account management for partnerships, crafting inspiring communications and engagement opportunities that benefit both the charity and donors.
- Drive new business growth:
- Identify funding/partnership opportunities.
- Cultivate donor relationships.
- Prepare high-impact applications/proposals.
- Collaborate (internally/externally) to spot opportunities and drive outcomes.
- Work flexibly—balancing remote workflows with occasional travel.
