Phlebotomist – Westfield Stratford, London (Job Ref: 26/PWST)

The Role: Phlebotomist (Westfield Stratford & Canary Wharf)
Location & Contract
- Primary Location: Unit 2052A, Westfield Stratford, London (E20 1EJ)
- Operational Scope: Shifts may also occur at Canary Wharf clinic based on demand
- Flexible Rota: Shifts will be scheduled based on clinic demand
- Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours & Schedule
Standard operating hours (4 days on, 4 days off):
- Monday–Friday: 09:45 AM – 09:00 PM OR 06:00 PM
- Saturday: 09:45 AM – 09:00 PM OR 06:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:45 AM – 06:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
This role ensures exceptional customer experience from clinic arrival to departure, including:
- Blood & sample collection (including private & corporate healthcare clients)
- Moving beyond taking samples—appointments involve:
- Client consultations (collecting blood & urine samples)
- Personal health measurements
- Accurate data entry into our Patient Information System (PIS)
- Confidential communication to secure client understanding, consent, and compliance
- Maintaining and updating records on PIS—uploading all required documentation
- Representing Randox Health at offsite healthcare events or client appointments
- Driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and target exceeding sales
- Managed documentation: specimen labelling, lab tests forms, and other systematic paperwork
- Proficient IT use: handling multiple software systems and tools
Requirements
Essential Criteria
✅ Previous phlebotomy training/graphical certificate (or equivalent) ✅ Confident in IT systems (software & daily operations) ✅ Flexibility with shifts: evenings & weekends routine ✅ Ability to occasionally work offsite (minimum once monthly) ✅ Excellent communication skills ✅ Legal right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship for minimum 12 months (expectations include 9-month probationary period and potential future decisions)

Note: Enhanced DBS clearance is mandatory in alignment with Care Quality Commission guidelines.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in private health clinics/systems
- Background in customer service roles
- 2+ years in phlebotomy/direct patient care
- Aptitude for sales or retail interaction to enhance client-based engagement
