About the Role
Due to the expansion of our busy service we are looking for dynamic individuals with excellent communication skills to join our Phlebotomy Service. You will work within a dedicated team who provide front line care to hospital inpatients, outpatients & GP patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a dedicated team providing front line care to hospital inpatients, outpatients & GP patients.
- Be flexible in your approach to working as the Phlebotomy service is provided 7 days a week on a rota basis.
- Willing to work weekends and bank holidays.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are integral to the post.
- Proficiency in venepuncture is integral in this role.
- Work well within a team, use your initiative, and be willing to acquire new skills and knowledge.
- Attention to detail will be a key characteristic.
- Work in a busy environment with a commitment to high standards of service delivery.

Preferred Experience
- Experience of dealing with patients and staff in the hospital environment or Blood Test Clinics will be of benefit.
