About the Role
Due to the expansion of our busy service, we are looking for dynamic individuals with excellent communication skills to join our Phlebotomy Service. You will work within a dedicated team who provide front-line care to hospital inpatients, outpatients, and GP patients.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to working as the Phlebotomy service is provided 7 days a week, operated on a rota basis. You must be willing to work weekends and bank holidays. Excellent communication and organizational skills are integral to the post. Being proficient in venepuncture is integral to this role. Responsibilities
- Teamwork and Communication:
- Play a key role in facilitating clear and effective communication between laboratory staff, clinical teams, and external clients.
- Offer advice, clarify test requests, or address queries in a professional and approachable manner.
- Strong IT skills will be essential for communicating via various digital platforms.

- Stock Management:
- Manage stock levels by ordering supplies from Main Stores and rotating inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
