Phlebotomist/HCA – Yorkshire – Our Future Health

Banding: Band 2 & 3

Location: Yorkshire

Rate: £18.00 - £25.78 per hour

Pulse Nursing is looking for experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) with phlebotomy experience to join our team in Yorkshire, with shifts available Monday to Sunday (8:00am – 7:30pm).

We offer competitive hourly pay rates of:

  • Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
  • Saturday: £20.96 per hour
  • Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.78 per hour

Working as a Phlebotomist/HCA, you will:

  • Complete POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight and waist measurements, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and accurately record findings on the system.
  • Draw two blood samples, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments, escalating concerns where appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Certificate in Phlebotomy.
  • A minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood.
  • Experience taking patient observations.
  • Excellent patient care skills.
