Introduction
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a motivated, highly skilled and organised photographer/studio co-ordinator to join us in supporting our Agency services.
This is an important full time role based within our HQ in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Reporting directly to the Agency Director, you’ll be right at the heart of a busy Agency.
Our activities include scouting, recruiting and development of fashion models and provision of fashion/photographic models to the UK and international markets. We also represent Creatives and Casting artists.

We have 3 studio facilities to hire in our carbon neutral 6,000 sq ft warehouse HQ in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, which we bought and refurbished ourselves.
Skillset
We welcome applications from those experienced in photography/studio lighting with good knowledge of CaptureOne, Photoshop and InDesign. You'll be responsible for handling all incoming images as well as adding your own.
A flexible approach and engaging personality is a must along with the ability to balance daily challenges and would appeal to a resourceful self starter who is dedicated to achieve outstanding results.
You will need the ability to prioritise workloads to incorporate ever changing deadlines and priorities with no fuss, utilising initiative and flair and delivering quality results in good time. You should have a keen eye for detail which does not suffer under pressure along with a meticulous work ethic.
The job entails marketing and managing studio hire for which excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Good knowledge of social media is a definite advantage.

The Role
Responsibilities are varied and wide ranging:
Imaging
- Digitals - Organise and shoot numerous digital updates for models. These are in a regular format and you will produce excellent engaging photographs of models in their natural state to enhance their website profiles or when required for individual clients.
- Video Shooting - Video footage for updating website profiles, showing personality and skills of the model, often these are candid, casual yet impactful video’s (Tiktok style).
- Image Management - Maintain a meticulous storage and retrieval system and monitor a large image library across all Agency Divisions - we receive images from outside sources which may need editing, retouching, resizing, cropping to prepare for publishing and storing in correct files.
- Website - Upload images to update the website/database daily ensuring meticulous QC.
- Model Cards - Using an InDesign template, produce digital model cards and PDF’s.
- Model Workshops - Help new recruits learn to pose, move and engage with the camera.

Studios
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the studios to ensure they run efficiently and profitably, including purchasing supplies and hiring staff when necessary. Responsible for sales, marketing and working to a target. Marketing resources are available to support in house.
- Studio Equipment Responsible for the management, maintenance, and organisation of all photographic and studio equipment within the agency and studios. Excellent knowledge of studio equipment is essential. Keep all studio spaces clear, organised and well presented, ensuring equipment is maintained and ready for use at all times. Check inventory after rentals and raise any issues.
- Opening and Closing Duties Responsible for opening the building and preparing the studios for the day. At the end of each day, secure the building by locking up, setting alarms, ensuring studios are clean, tidy, ready for the following day, and disposing of waste before leaving.
- Social Content Creation Responsible for creating engaging social media content that showcases the studios, behind-the-scenes activity, productions, facilities, and events. Capture photo and video content, work with the wider team to promote studio activity, and ensure content aligns with the agency's brand and marketing objectives. Our marketing and socials team are available to assist.
Salary
- £27,500 pa
- Pension Contribution: 3%
Contractual Hours
- 9am to 6pm with an hour for lunch, there is some flexibility once established in the role.
