PHP Developer
PHP Developer (Laravel/Vue.js/AWS) – Hybrid – UK Applicants Only
📍 Location: Manchester (UK-based – office attendance required) 💰 Salary: Competitive + Benefits 🕒 Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We're hiring an experienced PHP Developer to join a growing technology team delivering scalable web applications within a fast-paced commercial environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building robust backend systems, developing modern front-end experiences, and working with cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable full-stack web applications
- Develop secure and high-performing backend systems using Laravel
- Create responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using Vue.js
- Work with AWS infrastructure, deployments, and cloud services
- Develop and maintain APIs and database integrations
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams

Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel
- Solid experience with Vue.js
- Experience working with AWS
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and relational databases
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile environments
- Previous experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Banking, or Payments is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
🌟 Desirable
- Docker/Kubernetes experience
- Microservices architecture
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with high-availability systems
- Automated testing (PHPUnit/TDD)
