Physical Therapist – Day Institute (SSM Health)
Location: St. Charles, MO Type: Full-time (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm) Specialty: Outpatient rehabilitation (neurological & medically complex care)
About the Role
SSM Health Day Institute seeks a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our specialised outpatient rehabilitation program. Our ten St. Louis Metro-area centers serve patients recovering from traumatic injury or illness, culturally recovering from or no longer requiring 24-hour nursing or acute care. We combine multi-disciplinary expertise, skill-building interventions, and patient-centred support to empower adapative independence.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently implements high-quality physical therapy (PT) for patients, caregivers, and referring facilities—complying with PT standards, outpatient policies, and best practices.
- Develops treatment plans; supervises assistants & aides; contributes to case management and ensures quality patient care.
- Maintains positive collaboration with external facilities and clients.
- Enhances client relationships with providers, staff, and partners.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. (Master’s preferred—check position for specialist variations.)
- Valid/eligible state PT licensure (or plan to obtain).
- Active CPR certification.
