Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Bedford, MA | Full-Time

$29.00/hr - $37/hr (based on exp) + PTO, Paid Holidays, 401(k), CEU Reimbursement & Professional Development

About the Role

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Bedford, MA is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including approximately 60% balance and vestibular rehabilitation and 40% orthopedic care. You'll collaborate with an experienced Physical Therapy team while gaining valuable experience in one of the fastest-growing specialty areas of rehabilitation.

What You'll Do

  • Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic, vestibular, neurological, and geriatric patients
  • Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence
  • Utilize advanced rehabilitation technology to enhance treatment outcomes
  • Document patient care using Prompt EMR and AI-assisted tools
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with therapists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences
  • Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives, including fall-prevention programs

Qualifications

  • Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outpatient experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Interest in orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehabilitation
