Physics Masters

Physics Masters – AI Training Specialist

About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to make cutting-edge language models smarter — and we need physicists to help. If you hold or are pursuing a Master's in Physics, this is a rare opportunity to apply your deep domain expertise to one of the most consequential technology challenges of our time.

You'll use your physics knowledge to design challenging problems, evaluate AI reasoning, and help build the benchmarks that shape how the next generation of AI understands the physical world.

No AI experience required. Just strong physics — and the ability to think rigorously.

Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Responsibilities

  • Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
  • Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that test AI reasoning at undergraduate to graduate level
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and solution quality
  • Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks and push the boundaries of what AI can reason through
  • Provide structured written feedback that directly improves model performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
