Role: Physics Professor ( Contract ) Location: Remote (Work From Anywhere) Payout: $70–$90/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Physics Professor/Researcher (PhD) to contribute to advanced research in quantum physics and related fields on a contract basis. The position requires deep expertise in theoretical and experimental physics, with a focus on publishing high-impact findings. Candidates must demonstrate a strong publication record and ability to mentor junior researchers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in physics, with emphasis on quantum mechanics, condensed matter, or high-energy physics.
- Publish original research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences.
- Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, including project guidance and manuscript review.
- Develop and refine theoretical models to explain experimental observations or propose new hypotheses.
- Secure external funding through grant applications and partnerships with academic institutions or industry partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, with specialization in quantum physics, condensed matter, or high-energy physics.
- Minimum 5 years of postdoctoral research experience in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier journals such as Physical Review Letters or Nature Physics.
- Experience mentoring graduate students and junior researchers in a university or research lab setting.
- Proficiency in computational physics tools, including Python, Mathematica, or COMSOL Multiphysics.
