About the Role
A part-time position (20 hours per week over three days) is available for a dedicated and compassionate professional to support the assessment, delivery, and therapeutic interventions relating to seating, mobility, and assistive technology for children and young people.
This role sits at the intersection of clinical care, care provision, and multidisciplinary collaboration in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Implementation:
- Assess and implement seating and mobility equipment
- Support access to assistive technology (e.g., switches)

Therapeutic Delivery:
- Deliver and lead therapeutic group sessions, including hydrotherapy
- Facilitate intimate and personal care (pessaries, catheterisation, etc.) with dignity

Professional & Collaborative Work:
- Write clear professional reports and contribute to case reviews
- Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals (e.g., doctors, OTs, SLTs)
- Maintain accurate documentation for progress and care plans

Environment & Safety:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-presented environment for all staff and service users
- Adhere to highest safeguarding standards

Support & Development:
- Contribute to staff training and continuous professional development (CPD)

We are seeking an individual with:

Relevant experience in supporting people with additional/complex needs, including:
- Independence training
- Mobility and positioning
- Continence management
- Therapeutic environments
