Physiotherapist (Bank) – Ross Hall Hospital, Glasgow
Location: Glasgow Shift Type: Bank (on-call / as-when-required) Salary: Up to £22.00 per hour (based on experience, training and qualifications)
Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare, is seeking a responsive Physiotherapist to join the Ross Hall Hospital team.
About the Role
This is a banking/flexible roles position, working to support staff during peaks, holiday cover, or absence. You’ll contribute to high-quality musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic, respiratory, and post-surgical care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage complex patient cases across:
- Musculoskeletal conditions
- Neurological disorders
- Respiratory conditions
- Orthopaedic recovery
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Develop personalised treatment plans aligned with patient goals and clinical guidelines.
- Apply evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, prescribed exercises, and patient education to drive recovery and prevent relapse.
- Collaborate with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient progress.
- Participate in ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and discharge planning.
- Refer patients to specialist services when necessary (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain clinics, community rehab).
- Maintain efficient case-workload management in a flexible setting.

Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualifying degree: BSc, MSc, or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration for practice in the UK.
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Strong foundation in clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Effective time management and organisation to balance varied workloads.
