Physiotherapist – Ad hoc | Part time

As a Physiotherapist at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital, you’ll combine clinical expertise with a commitment to continuous improvement in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.


Key Requirements

  • Qualifications & Registration:
    • BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) required
    • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Excellent manual therapy skills
    • Commitment to professional development and learning
    • Strong clinical judgment and analytical abilities
    • Confident communication skills with ability to engage diversely with patients
    • Patient-centred and empathetic approach with a focus on recovery and rehabilitation

Responsibilities

  • Work across Inpatients and Outpatients, addressing:
    • A range of musculoskeletal conditions
    • Post-operative cases
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), and consultants, backed by a regional Clinical Lead
  • Support patients to:
    • Achieve, maintain, and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing
    • Receive safe, effective, and compassionate clinical care tailored to their needs
  • Ensure governance compliance, participation in clinical audit, and adherence to quality assurance processes
  • Enjoy protected continuous professional development (CPD) time with access to Nuffield Health Academy programmes and events
