Physiotherapist Community Rotation
Full Time Rotational Physiotherapist – Community Therapy Team
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time rotational Physiotherapist to join our Community Therapy Team, based in Guildford and Waverley. The rotations include:
- MSK out-patients
- In-patients (focus on frailty with some sub-acute ortho-geriatrics)
- Community Therapy Teams, providing both urgent and general rehabilitation for patients, including those with neurological impairments
Key Responsibilities
You will be part of a collaborative team comprising Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, PTAs, and Community Rehabilitation Assistants. The role requires:
- Working across a wide variety of complex cases, including long-term conditions and frailty, often with at-risk and recently discharged patients who may be vulnerable to hospital admission.
- Providing assessment, treatment, and advice to assigned patients as part of a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Promoting autonomy, innovation, and service improvement within the team.
- Working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues across the Community service rotation programme.
- Using vital IT applications to manage caseloads and documentation effectively.
- Traveling independently to multiple sites and patients’ homes.

Essential Requirements
- Must be organised, motivated, and highly team-focused with a caring and compassionate attitude.
- Job readiness requires willingness to use IT tools to perform tasks efficiently.
- Experience or ability to collaborate within MSK, inpatient, and community therapy environments.
- Passionate commitment to delivering high-quality, responsive, and patient-centred care.
