Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join our remote, work-from-home team. In this role, you will:

  • Be a key contributor to supporting employees’ musculoskeletal health.
  • Assist in delivering an outstanding occupational health service to our clients.
  • Enhance your expertise and expand your experience in a supportive, collaborative virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • ✅ Remote Clinical Work:

    • Provide accurate remote clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for musculoskeletal disorders.
    • Classify presentations into work-relatedness categories, including reasons for onset.
  • 📊 Fitness for Work & Adjustments:

    • Generate management reports after assessments, detailing:
      • Employee’s fitness to work.
      • Any temporary, long-term, or permanent role adjustments required.
  • 🚨 Workplace Hazard Assessment:

    • Identify and evaluate risks of workplace hazards in relation to individual MSK ill-health.
  • 💪 Rehabilitation & Support:

    • Design and deliver effective rehabilitation programs for staff with MSK disorders (work-related or not).

  • 📂 Administrative & Data Tasks:

    • Complete comprehensive clinical records using online forms.
    • Compile statistical information for reporting needs.
  • 🤝 Client & Team Collaboration:

    • Run or contribute to health promotion events.
    • Attend scheduled liaison meetings as directed by the Team Lead or wider leadership team.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 🔹 Registration: Must be registered with the [Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC)].
  • 🔹 Experience: At least 4 years post-graduate experience, including 2 years specialising in musculoskeletal care.
  • 🔹 IT Proficiency: Skilled in using clinically relevant systems and understanding basic workplace ergonomics.
  • 🔹 Self-Reliance: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • 🔹 Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills for engaging with clients and colleagues effectively.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  • ➕ Post-graduate training in Occupational Health/Agonomics.
  • ➕ Membership with:
    • [Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)].
    • [Association of Chartered PhysioTherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE)].

Work Arrangements

This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm), although some occasional flexibility will be required.

📍 Location: Remote, based within the UK—working from abroad is not permitted.
