Physiotherapist (Locum) | NHS & Private Healthcare | United Kingdom

📍 Location: Various UK Locations

💷 Competitive Hourly Rates (Dependent on experience, specialty, and location)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced and motivated HCPC Registered Physiotherapists to join our growing network of healthcare professionals across the United Kingdom. Opportunities are available within NHS Trusts, Private Hospitals, Community Services, Rehabilitation Centres, Care Homes, and Specialist Clinics.

Whether your expertise is in MSK, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Neurology, Community, Acute Medicine, Elderly Care, Paediatrics, Women's Health, or General Physiotherapy, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions.
  • Promote patient independence and rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Educate patients, families, and carers.
  • Ensure compliance with HCPC standards and clinical governance.
  • Participate in discharge planning and rehabilitation pathways.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Current HCPC Registration.
  • Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) (Desirable).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong clinical assessment and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 6–12 months paid UK Physiotherapy experience (preferred depending on role).
  • NHS experience highly advantageous.
  • Experience within one or more of the following:
    • Musculoskeletal (MSK)
    • Orthopaedics
    • Inpatient Rehabilitation
    • Acute Medicine
    • Community Physiotherapy
    • Respiratory
    • Neurology
    • Elderly Care
    • Paediatrics
    • Women's Health
    • Stroke Rehabilitation
    • Care of the Elderly
