The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

- Assist with the delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist.
- Support patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice, and therapeutic activities in a safe and compassionate manner.
- Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use.
- Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy, helping build confidence and engagement.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, stock checks, and preparation of therapy materials.
- Follow all relevant health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures.

- Experience working in a healthcare, care, or rehabilitation setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A caring, patient-focused approach and commitment to promoting independence.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
