Physiotherapy Manager
Physiotherapy Manager | Spire St Anthony’s Hospital | Sutton | Full Time, Permanent
Spire St Anthony’s Hospital is seeking an experienced and clinically driven Physiotherapy Manager to lead the Physiotherapy service. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and driving clinical and operational excellence within a modern private hospital setting.
Following a £27m investment, Spire St Anthony’s provides advanced healthcare services to patients across Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London, supported by a multidisciplinary team committed to outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred physiotherapy services.
- Undertake advanced clinical assessment and management of patients’ health and rehabilitation needs.
- Drive continuous improvement in clinical practice, service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Provide professional leadership, supervision and development of the physiotherapy team.
- Promote a positive clinical culture aligned to patient safety, quality and governance standards.
- Develop and implement service strategies, policies and operational plans.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance frameworks, including infection prevention and control (HCAI).
- Manage resources effectively, including workforce planning, budgets and equipment.
- Lead on quality assurance, audit, research and service development initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication across multidisciplinary teams in complex and sensitive situations.
- Support equality, diversity and patient rights in all aspects of care delivery.

Who We’re Looking For
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- Proven experience in a physiotherapy leadership or management role
- Management or leadership qualification (desirable)
