Physiotherapy Manager

Physiotherapy Manager | Spire St Anthony’s Hospital | Sutton | Full Time, Permanent

Spire St Anthony’s Hospital is seeking an experienced and clinically driven Physiotherapy Manager to lead the Physiotherapy service. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and driving clinical and operational excellence within a modern private hospital setting.

Following a £27m investment, Spire St Anthony’s provides advanced healthcare services to patients across Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London, supported by a multidisciplinary team committed to outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred physiotherapy services.
  • Undertake advanced clinical assessment and management of patients’ health and rehabilitation needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical practice, service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Provide professional leadership, supervision and development of the physiotherapy team.
  • Promote a positive clinical culture aligned to patient safety, quality and governance standards.
  • Develop and implement service strategies, policies and operational plans.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance frameworks, including infection prevention and control (HCAI).
  • Manage resources effectively, including workforce planning, budgets and equipment.
  • Lead on quality assurance, audit, research and service development initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication across multidisciplinary teams in complex and sensitive situations.
  • Support equality, diversity and patient rights in all aspects of care delivery.

Who We’re Looking For

  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Proven experience in a physiotherapy leadership or management role
  • Management or leadership qualification (desirable)
