Job Description
Physiotherapy Manager | Spire St Anthony’s Hospital | Sutton | Full Time, Permanent
Spire St Anthony’s Hospital is seeking an experienced and clinically driven Physiotherapy Manager to lead the Physiotherapy service. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and driving clinical and operational excellence within a modern private hospital setting.
Following a £27m investment, Spire St Anthony’s provides advanced healthcare services to patients across Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London, supported by a multidisciplinary team committed to outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred physiotherapy services. Undertake advanced clinical assessment and management of patients’ health and rehabilitation needs. Drive continuous improvement in clinical practice, service delivery and patient outcomes. Provide professional leadership, supervision and development of the physiotherapy team. Promote a positive clinical culture aligned to patient safety, quality and governance standards. Develop and implement service strategies, policies and operational plans. Ensure compliance with clinical governance frameworks, including infection prevention and control (HCAI). Manage resources effectively, including workforce planning, budgets and equipment. Lead on quality assurance, audit, research and service development initiatives. Maintain effective communication across multidisciplinary teams in complex and sensitive situations. Support equality, diversity and patient rights in all aspects of care delivery.

Who We’re Looking For
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification HCPC Registered Physiotherapist Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Proven experience in a physiotherapy leadership or management role Management or leadership qualification (desirable)
