Physiotherapy Head Of Service – Band 8A

Hospital Paediatric and Neonates within Women & Children’s Directorate

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GGC) are looking to appoint a Band 8a Paediatric Physiotherapy Service Lead for the Acute Physiotherapy Service within the Royal Hospital for Children.

The post holder is accountable to the Clinical Service Manager and is responsible and accountable for staff management, recruitment, appraisal, CPD, discipline, policy, health & safety, management of budget and physical resources, dealing with complaints, and liaising with external agencies as appropriate.

The Physiotherapy Service Lead is also responsible for a highly specialist clinical caseload within their own area of expertise (approx. 0.4 WTE).
