Physiotherapy Support Worker
Physiotherapy Support Worker – Medicine Pathway
North Bristol NHS Trust (now Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, effective 1 July 2026) invites applications for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapy Support Worker. Join one of the UK’s largest NHS trusts as we merge to create better outcomes for patients and a sustainable future for staff.
About the Role
We recognise the importance of a healthy work-life balance and call our hybrid success: "your work fits around your home life". If this means flexible working, discuss it in your application.
As a Black, Asian, or minority ethnic (BAME) candidate, we encourage you to apply—these groups remain under-represented.
This role is critical; it is ideal for those looking to gain hands-on physiotherapy experience in an NHS setting while contributing to multidisciplinary care for patients recovering from illness.
Job Overview
This opportunity is for a Physiotherapy Support Worker within the Medicine Pathway, specifically on Gastroenterology, Ward 7B Medicine, and Infectious Diseases wards. Your role will be crucial in assisting physiotherapists to help patients regain motility, mental confidence, and independence, preparing them for safe discharge.
You’ll work within a collaborative, supportive team, helping deliver high-quality patient care. This experience will be invaluable whether you seek long-term NHS career progression or further medical education.
Location: Bristol NHS Foundation Trust hospitals and specialist wards.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
