Aon is currently recruiting a Broker to join our Professional Services team, which forms part of our Global Broking Centre (GBC).
In this role will be responsible for co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) business within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets.

What The Day Will Look Like
Work within a team of placing brokers to negotiate and place renewal and new business in a contract certain process Review and drafting insurance contracts, and issuing them to clients and insurers Sign insurance contracts with insurers via electronic placing platforms (such as PPL) Provide the highest level of service and technical expertise to clients. Prepare market presentations and broker submissions to broke client’s enquiries to insurers Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance Market and Underwriters Proactively approach training and development to grow knowledge Represent Aon, demonstrating an understanding of corporate objectives Effective working relationships with other Aon specialist areas of business

How This Opportunity Is Different
The Professional Services team comprises 25 Brokers with various levels of experience and expertise. The team places PII and Cyber for accounting, consulting, legal, design and construction firms for a wide portfolio of clients emanating from within North America, the UK and Europe, in collaboration with our global retail network.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
Proven experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer Understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes Awareness of / ability to utilise insurance industry IT systems Effective communication and presentation skills Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
