Partners& are recruiting for a specialist Professional Indemnity (PI) Director to provide support and technical expertise to the wider team on PI risks.

This is a national role reporting into the Chief Client Officer. Location is flexible and we also support hybrid working.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Management of group-wide PI proposition in line with the Partners& Difference strategy and Resilience model.
  • Implementation & continued enhancement of PI proposition across Partners&.
  • Leadership and training of internal PI Champions.
  • Managing ecosystem partnerships such as Kennedy’s for claims handling.
  • Responsibility for PI strategic growth plan and resources (working with key stakeholders within Partners&).
  • To support the trading / advisory teams and provide coaching to enable them to deliver better client outcomes in PI.
  • Understanding & monitoring of issues & challenges in the PI market and their impact of our proposition.
  • Supporting colleagues in face to face meetings on PI.
  • Developing campaigns internally to increase PI penetration.
  • Supporting the markets and placement team with key PI relationships and complex placement.
  • Management of complex PI renewal processes including clients and insurers where required.

  • ACII qualification desirable.
  • Demonstrable competency in senior PI dedicated role.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and influence within the PI space.
  • Absolute commitment to client service, development of customer insights, and client feedback.
  • Passion for excellence and attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Continued professional development in relevant technical knowledge in PI.
  • Proven ability to educate and train others in PI.
  • Excellent interpersonal, visual and communication skills, skilled negotiator.
  • Excellent knowledge of broking processes and regulatory standards.
  • Track record of delivering excellent risk outcomes for customers, and successful collaborations with colleagues and partners.
  • Demonstrate consistent application of PACE values at all times.
