Picker - Part Time
Part-Time Retail & Delivery Role – Customer Service & Operations
About the Role
This is a Part-Time role offering variety and growth. You’ll ensure customers’ needs exceed expectations across multiple store functions, meaning no two days will be the same.
Whether filling shelves, operating till systems, managing stock levels, processing deliveries, or handling pick-and-pack operations—every task matters. Success depends on a can-do attitude, passion for customer service, and a willingness to go above and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Accurate Operational Support
- Responsible for the precise picking and dispatch of goods using handheld terminals.
- Ensure Manager is immediately notified about discrepancies.
- Warehouse Prep for Deliveries
- Verify quality, shelf life, robustness of packaging, and readiness for dispatch.
- Customer-Facing Deliveries
- Deliver high customer service standards in processing deliveries efficiently to targets.
- Demonstrate politeness when interacting with delivery staff and support staff.
- Address customer queries and complaints professionally. Escalate complex situations to the relevant team member.
- Workflow & Rate Compliance
- Complete task objectives within designated pick rates and deadlines.
Requirements
- A hands-on, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work efficiently under expectations (dealing with busy periods).
- Commitment to excellent customer service and delivering a welcoming environment.
- Dependability—being on time, present, and professionally presented.
- Flexibility to adapt to a varied workload.

Minimum Age Policy
The role requires occasional working before 6:15 AM or after 9:45 PM, including warehouse, beers/wines/spirits, and driver openings. Only candidates over 18 are acceptable.
