Picker - Part Time
About the Role
This is a Part-Time Role.
The working pattern is:
- Sunday: 1pm–5pm
- Monday to Thursday: 4pm–8pm
You will be expected to ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working across various store functions, ensuring no two days are the same. Whether it's:
- Filling shelves,
- Serving on the tills,
- Managing stock levels or
- Picking deliveries,
the opportunities are endless, but everything you do matters:
- Ensuring customers receive exactly what they need.
- Serving them quickly and efficiently.
We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude, passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate picking and dispatch of goods (using a handheld terminal) and advising the Manager of any discrepancies.
- Checking quality, shelf life, and packaging robustness in preparation for delivery.
- Providing high-standard customer service:
- Processing deliveries efficiently and to target.
- Staying polite when dealing with delivery staff.
- Addressing queries and complaints appropriately, escalating complex situations to the right team member.
Requirements
- Must have a willing attitude, adaptability to meet pick rates, and comfort following structured workflows.
- Strong passion for customer service, with a commitment to exceeding expectations for valued customers.
- Reliability, including being on time and present.
