Picker - Part Time

About the Role

This is a Part Time Role.

You will be expected to ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working across various areas of the store, so no two days will be the same. Whether it’s:

  • Filling shelves
  • Serving on the tills
  • Ensuring optimal stock levels
  • Picking deliveries

…the opportunities are endless, but everything you do matters—ensuring our customers are served quickly, efficiently, and with the items they need.

We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude and passion for delivering excellent customer service, someone willing to go the extra mile for our valued customers.


Responsibilities

  • Accurate picking & dispatch:
    • Pick goods against hand-held terminal and alert the Manager if discrepancies are found.
  • Quality control & preparation:
    • Check quality, shelf life, and ensure robust packaging for Delivery.
  • Customer service:
    • Process deliveries efficiently to meet targets.
    • Treat delivery staff politely and handle queries/complaints appropriately, escalating complex issues when needed.

Requirements

You will need:

  • A proactive, go-getter attitude and the ability to work to designated pick rates comfortably.
  • Enthusiasm for customer service and a willingness to exceed expectations in service etiquette.
  • Reliable attendance: always be on time and professionally presented.
